Re: Sign, sign, everywhere a sign

Well said Nick.

It's ironical that in reality they don't even ensure democracy via their middle east carnage, in fact they just set up another slave state to the centralised tyrannical global government.

Anyone with safety worries should just get a lid, but let's not make it compulsory !

Re: The L,E&A video thread

Musica surfica is such a pile of pretentious foppery. Emperor's new clothes syndrome. Plus this new trend of having these limp moaning weevils with drab acoustic guitar is really lame, blubbering on about their weeny emotions as if that's the epitome of soul is super slack, tell them to harden the f...

Re: Sign, sign, everywhere a sign

It's an orchestrated campaign is what I'm saying. . . in NZ they dragged up a 2yr old incident to try and drum up the idea that there's a problem which requires policing

Nu boy that's 5 kilos not 5 pounds.

Anything under 20 pounds is classed as a piece of popcorn.

Re: Surf satire from 'Bearded Gimp'

Yes the rails are straight for about 3 feet in the tail, although they do converge slightly. We'll be adding 5 to 8 pounds of lead inside the board just above the bottom planking.

Re: Surf satire from 'Bearded Gimp'

Sounds good, have you been using the tunnel by itself or with side fins ? We've been using a tunnel the same as yours on a 5'11" just by itself and it's good. Side fins are good also but not with toe in ( or so we've found ) and best to keep them close in front of the tunnel. We've given up the swal...

Re: Surf satire from 'Bearded Gimp'

sigh. u wouldn't want stop free speach No fong, I just find his advertising lame. The 'satire' is actually is very cliche and unimaginative, and works as simply another poor advertising attempt. Some people ( particularly in the USA ) found it highly amusing, not everyone's taste is the same. I did...

Re: Surf satire from 'Bearded Gimp'

How about simply posting pictures of your woodwork projects without the dialogue? It is much more pleasant for all concerned. Certainly, but let's just say more pictures AND more dialogue shall we ? Here's some more dialogue from 'The bearded Gimp' "On the beach, veteran ASP judge Raimundo Herrera ...

I have got to say , I have lived my life until now just being vaguely aware of Roy. I dont know enough about him as a person to say diddly either way, but man, just because its wood and it doesnt look like homer simpsons spice rack doesnt mean its a good board, and I would eat a handful of my own s...

Re: Surf satire from 'Bearded Gimp'

Everything is the party line except your line, right Roy? Yes, you shape a variety of boards but you are missing the point. People don't like the way you preach at them rather than discuss with them. Better a 'party' line than a dictatorial one. Dictatorial ? Here's a helpful wee clue: You c...
