Well Dino, I suppose now that more of the whole picture is out, its been a learning experience all round. There are always the positives that come out of things.

Glad I'm not anywhere near it. Sounds real depressing. Its a big effort for me on occasions just to walk up to the local milk bar.

At least 3rd generation australian on both sides. Dads side has some Irish in it and Mum's side just a bunch of aussie mongrels with nothing specific that stands out.

I am learning a bit here. Just wanted to say and nothing more, that in my case, which is all I can refer to, is nothing to do with drugs or alcohol. 'Born' with the predisposition. But compared to others I know, its very mild in comparison. Found out early in the piece that drugs and alcohol (sh.t e...

Interesting to see mention in the papers about whether Joey had been suffering from depression or bipolar disorder for which I guess you could read what used to be called manic depression. Having known a couple of people with this problem it would explain the rollacoaster ride his career seems to h...

Those new Webber split double concave bottoms look real interesting. I'd have a guess that it would ride a bit like two narrow boards in one.

With riding all the discarded rubbish and all, I'd now get bored with just one 'unbreakable board'. When I do buy new boards, I'm not looking for that 'one and only' long term board. Hopefully I'm not the only one is that category.

... honestly it's enough to turn me into a humble backyarder who strips down broken boards and sets 'em back up with ... wait for it ... balsa perimeter stringers. Nick, you may want to find out why Mick Buttons has put in glass roving ones in some of his boards and why many others have done it wit...

.. Spoke to a shaper friend yesterday and he reckoned pretty much everyone was struggling. Thats what I heard too Ric.They gotta charge more for the new tech boards to be worth it, even for the small guy. Market forces wont result in a some sort of FW monopoly, so how it runs its course will be ver...

But seriously though, some of you really have a problem. You dish things out to people in all seriousness, but cant take it when its sent back to you. I've been putting a mirror up to some of your faces a lot recently and some of you just cant take it. The are a few here that are genuine and real sm...

You are all only just encouraging me. But I must say it is starting to get a bit weird, I feel like I'm being stalked by a few of you, especially 'boring Joe average who cant get any'.

I am so bored and never had so much fun.

Gee Bert, I reckon we are all trolls on here. Even You are, in the way you described it (bear with me on this). I suppose I am a troll too, but to just clear things up with people, I am just a humble backyarder who has found that glueing perimeter balsa stringers in PU boards and glassing epoxy prod...

Exactly right ! Some stuff that just doesnt happen, with all so little effort, as compared to much harder work on a regular thruster too !
