Yes please. If I can get the trip approved by the committee, I would much appreciate that.steve shearer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 8:19 pmmornings are better for crowds.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
anyhow, wow at the latest GFS run. glad I've put some miles in on the Ghost and Desert Storm. I'm thinking about going up to Bangalow to visit my dear old Mum in the week of the 1st. If I was to nip down to the Pass once or twice, what sort of crowds might I expect? expect it too be wild, but easy ...

Re: Twin keel adventures - canards!
I'm 175 cm. Most people will tell you canards direct water flow around the big fins. I think on a surfboard they do that but also move the fin engagement forward slightly and tame a twitchy twin by extending the turn side base.

Re: Twin keel adventures - canards!
I like the last shot. but the hull still looks under-powered - ie not attaining the speed necessary to fully engage the canards. Twin keel adventures - canards!
I made myself a twin keel fish. 5' 3 1/2" x 19 7/8" x 2.4" about 30 litres (flat deck adds a lot of volume) Glassed on keels. Keels are 6" base x 5" high. Bottom is a subtle double concaved vee. Dan saved your mo'fo arse Pinny. show some respect ;-) I'd mask that rear in to say, 4 3/4 and tweak them fronts with a shaved fade on the sides and a post punk versimilitude mowhawk to within an inch or so of its ... on their fronts. Leave a trail. Make a statement. I let my surfing do the talking.

Hi all, Now that Chairman Daniels has taken the jackboot off our necks here in Victoria I can finally go surfing. During my confinement, anticipating a loss of fitness I ordered a mid length from a file I made. A key design requirement was it should have a huge turning sweet spot. I've found this fi...
