Sci fi fine but the truth is mind boggling. What sort of geniuses can not land this phoenix but get the orbiter to take a snap or two of it on the way down? Pic is in APOD four or five days ago

Never been to Indo; seems (going on the global chart) it's massively affected by the tides. Is that so?

Just hope when it comes it doesn't have the Pasha Bulka winds of last June. Neighbours still not talking after one of our 40ft gum trees dropped in their yard (stiff choka; I didn't plant it, the council didn't let me trim it and I can't insure neighbours on three sides). However, it looks like Grou...

Although you're out of the surfing loop for now, I'm sure paddling is the absolute key to surf fitness. I Googled up some paddling exercises and someone recommended lying prone on bench and using light weights in each hand and going thru the paddling motions. I did exactly this about 20 years ago an...

Salty,
My beach just came on line with Coastalwatch. I'm ashamed to say today I couldn't even be bothered walking the two minutes down the hill to check it out in 3D. This could be the beginning of the end ....

One day, God willing, you're all going to be too old, too cold, too sick or too tired to even contemplate ever paddling out again. I pity youse all

LID poetry??? Please Duke, wash your mouth out with soap. Nah, it's just when I see someone with a shortboard who never takes the opportunity to trim up in the centre of the bowl and clock up the speed these things are capable of, instead of hack/slash/hack/slash all the way to the anywhere air exit...

Mock you may Dazza, but the zeb/suit is designed to emulate the striped effect of the shark's buddy, the remora. I think I'm 100 per cent correct in suggesting that NO-ONE to date has been chomped by a shark while wearing one of these designs

"Hero'' does get a workover in the (sporting) press but unlike "champion'', "conqueor'', "exemplar'' or even "paladin'' it's a four-letter word that sits easy in a three or four-deck headline.
Don't think it stretches any credibilty to describe Brock Curtis-Mathew as a genuine one
