Well it's time to wake the fu'ck up everyone and tighten up. The people that thought this bubble would never burst were fools. This crisis will be a good thing for the australian surfboard industry. The dollar has dropped to a reasonable level for export to start happening again so I'm happy about t...

Just to settle the argument, can you post a video of you ripping on it? We need substantiation to your claims of less drag etc...

Re: the surf industry

If you want to cast a few well aimed stones around then look at Billabong, Quiksilver and Rip Curl. Which companies are most responsible for putting more people out in the line up? GSI or the big three? Look around you on the street. Non-surfers covered head to toe in surf clothing and accessories....

I'll sell you some foam dust. Best way is to melt wax in sun and scrape off then throw foam dust on and scrape again. then fill a sock with foam dust and wipe down. Voila! clean as a whistle.

Sure Don's gonna plug them GSI keeps this site running. There are plenty of Aus made alternatives that are better and around the same price. GSI is a bunch of twats hellbent on destroying the surf industry world wide.

Gotta say that after all the hype of the summer swells that have been plagued with bad winds and banks, yesterday was truly a joy to behold. Perfect 4-5 foot peaks with straight offshore. Best day of the year so far around my parts.

Not a chance of them covering it. But it is worth a try. MacBank has a team of lawyers that will no doubt absolve themselves from any liability. I may have opened a can of worms here. Yeah I agree that the 1 plug, larger surface area concept is far more efficient. Futures and O'Fish'L are sound syst...

As manufacturer maybe I can shed some light on this problem. Many of us have expressed concerns to FCS about the fin plugs cracking in half, especially with twin fins and keel fins because of the surface area. Initially FCS thought we were just complaining but obviously have finally (after many comp...

I'm with you Pridmore. The comment that there are hardly any artisans left is ludicrous. I can proudly say that I can shape anything with confidence and out of any type of foam, glass, or resin. Machine or not. Sure I use a shaping machine for most of my production, but I can get a blank out of the ...

I can't believe Dr. Karl still wears those really bad shirts. They were crap. Personally, I couldn't give a sh*t about whether a surf brand "puts back" into the sport. I've done it for years and no one gives a fu@ck about a label's responsibility. It's all about just marketing a brand and that's tha...

Despite what some have posted here, a change of fins is not going to be the sudden answer to your issue (fk here we go again with people saying that a change of fins is a sudden fix for everything....ok bit of a long out statement). ITS THE BOARD...NOT THE FINS. A change of fins may add a very slig...

That guy in Long Jetty is making possibly the worst boards I've ever seen. Way worse than the Asian popouts. I know you want to save money - try calling Dave Wood - he's got some decent mini-mals or the board shop in Brookvale has a few of his asian ones. They are not bad.
Hope this helps.

Sas The fact you even caught a wave in today's dribble blows my mind. Where are you, in Vicco? If you're having problems catching waves, increasing width and volume and flattening rocker are going to have the greatest impact. Going up an inch is gonna make f*#k all difference. A deeper concave can, ...
