Re: Port Stephens
Lived there for 8 yrs. One mile beach may be the worst beachy in Australia but the point gets ok every now and then, Fingal basically never breaks. Hit Buribi in the NE'er and South swell, or the Shoal bay beaches in an East swell. It can be 8ft on one side of the peninsula and 2ft on the other.

Re: Tail : Square or Pin 9'6.
Just going to pick up a second hander or ( this will get me skittled I know) pick up a pop out. I'm not looking to set the world on fire atm, just wanting to get a feel for a bigger board without busting the bank.

Tail : Square or Pin 9'6.
After spending most of xmas break riding a 8' mini mal, I'm upsizing to a 9' 4 or 9' 6 after getting into the glide of a longer board. I'm 75kgish, mostly ride beachies, but with a few point options as well. So which tail is the better option?

Re: Mats
I got 2 mats I ride when it's small/ feel like a change. One is a longer blue /red with handles cost $40 from a sports store, the other is a shorter wahu one that my young fella got for xmas. Like said above the key is to not over inflate them so you can create rail strength. It's easier to use the ...

Re: 21 day surf challenge...
The bloke who owns Unite clothing (booger brand) Joel Taylor apparently surfed everyday for two and a half years, and only broke the chain when the bus he was on going to the National titles in S.A. took a wrong turn and ended up inland for a day. He's in a wheelchair now after an accident at pipe. ...

Re: Shark Island Challenge 2009 Webcast
why's that steve??? challenge your thinking??? Boogers are supposed to be 15 yr old kids, iwho secretly aspire to be Slater, and then trade the boog for a "real mans" board once they "see the light"???

Re: New ATD/Mike Stewart Customs coming soon!
I'm actually really keen to see what they come up with. Ive had two atd's, the first was similiar to what marcus described all in one rezine machine. The second had these funky rolled railed to straight 90 degree pegs at the back. Cool boar for when its small, but like coops said, to stiff. However ...
