Haven't been on these forums for a while, interesting topic. I'm about 6ft tall, solid build, over the past 4 years my weight has been anywhere between 90-108kg. I excercise at least 4 times a week but it's the diet that does me in, I love food. Ideal weight 90kg but find it hard to keep it there, r...

Another one to add to the list. There is a similar case being played out at the moment in the Manly Daily - The Surf Rock, a bouncer and a certain old mate of KK's - a hard arse Sharkies bloke. In that case there is probably blame attributed to both sides, apparently that Narrabeen guy is no saint. ...

Chris Flannery broke his leg in the trial on Saturday night, meant to be out for 14 weeks or so. That sucks. Injuries during the trials are the worst.

I have surfed with Davo a few times out at Newport Peak recently. I found him to be very respectful in the line up, and he in fact gave me a few waves that he clearly has priority for. He even made the effort to have a chat in the line up and came accross as just a normal guy who was in fact very f...

I'll add my 2 cents worth. I went in December/January 05/06, so not at the same time as you. BUT you'll have an awesome time as there are heaps of waves everywhere. I drove the entire coast from San Diego to San Fran. My favourite spots (for surf) were San Diego County and Orange County. SD had the ...

WTF is the go with wearing the fu(kin things sideways. I thought it went out with Busta Rhymes and crack addiction. Stupid fu(kin look. Crack addicition's right back in vogue. Most people in Avalon are on it. A dead giveaway is anyone you saw 6 months ago who was carrying a bit of weight and is now...

I suffered my first ever surf rage incident on Sunday morn. The thing is we were surfing in Sydney and there were only 5 of us surfing the same wave, myself, 2 mates and two grommets. So not crowded and no need for a hassle. Now it was these two grommets who were being right little c$%ts. They kept...

Abalone diving though, very much in the sharks domain there (don't know how deep), is quite a bit different to being attacked surfing. Still they're out there...I was down that way over xmas and one afternoon session did 'feel' particularly sharky.
