Went for a drive and got a bank all to myself, small, no one in the water for hundreds of metres either side, couple of dolphins cruising by, sunny and having a blast on the mini mal.

Was good to be back in the water

I've never ryokaned, reckon I might this time as a wind down before the trip back home.

Flights are still stupid though, unless I go through Manilla which I swore I would never do again after last time.

We are planning to go to Iwate and then Yuzawa, maybe Myoko Kogen as well if time permits.

I was in Japan when Covid kicked off and the Chinese shut down their stock market, hopefully that won't happen again
