Removing Tailpads

How does one accomplish this seemingly impossible task? I have heard rumours that removing a tailpad can cause the fibreglass to lift of with it, and i do NOT want that to happen. So, anyone out there have a good technique to get it off?

A more slashable wave, especially around the lip, one footed lap back slashes to recovery, 100 different floaters, partical splashes on those lip bashes instead of getting pitched, a simulation mode with more gravity and weight to the surfer (sick of the stupid air you get), more idiosyncratic surf...
