Be Here Now is a guilty listening pleasure these days. D'You Know What I Mean is a great opening track. The Girl in the Dirty Shirt, I Hope I Think I Know, the title track and All Around The World are pretty good as well. The version of All Around The World that they played at the Boardwalk is worth checking out.godsavethequeen wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 6:23 pmOh, yeah I’m familiar with that. It’s also the title of a widely panned oasis album.

Do you link arms with your co-workers, loosen your tie and get tearful when Wonderwall comes on the radio pet? Do you bellow the chorus?

I prefer Live Forever and Don't Look Back in Anger. Wonderwall is dead to me thanks to the noisy neighbours.godsavethequeen wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:45 pmDo you link arms with your co-workers, loosen your tie and get tearful when Wonderwall comes on the radio pet? Do you bellow the chorus?
This is the Boardwalk performance I was referring to earlier

I’m sorry pet but Oasis are an embarrassment. Do I own any of their albums? Yes, yes I do. Do I bitterly regret this in hindsight? Yes, yes I do

Re: Just general surfing stuff
They have 1.5 great albums, one excellent single only A-side and a pretty good assortment of B-sides. In hindsight, Blur were the better band.godsavethequeen wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:53 pmI’m sorry pet but Oasis are an embarrassment. Do I own any of their albums? Yes, yes I do. Be Here Now is a great album, much better stripped back live as well.petulance wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:41 pmBe Here Now is a guilty listening pleasure these days. Pretty much every track on that album could benefit from being shorter and less over produced. The acoustic demos from that album are worth checking out.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I’m actually a fan of late period oasis where they just completely copied the Beatles.
Erase.
