Yeah I like the look of mctavish boards. Just not the price tag. Sherpa looks like fun, but doesnt really look to be suited to much of the (often uneven) conditions we get down here. The mctavish rambler looks great though.
Might get anther Rabbidge at some point. My current 6”10 step up is just like these, but sleeker at 20” wide and 2 5/8 thick.
Love the elliptical planshape he uses, the rocker line, distribution of foam. One of these in a 6’6 x 20 1/4 x 2 3/4 would cover a broad range of conditions.

People frequently take a while to report these sorts of things, leave it to the cops and the court.

But, why?
I'm not against weights, far from it. I've been doing some light stuff this year and resolved some niggling/recurring back and shoulder issues. Probably almost 5kg heavier than this time last year.
But big or strong for the sake of it, I just don't understand.
This isn't just about your garage, either.
Most people with some obvious muscle definition seem to be carrying more weight than they probably need to do their chosen sport.

https://www.northernstar.com.au/news/su ... p/3513697/Insp Lindsay said police will also allege the incident was captured on video and will be presented to the court.
"We will allege the video was taken by chance of someone else out in the surf," he said.
Could explain why it has been two weeks - with the filmer by chance seeing the incident on their footage?

Well, I’m actually enjoying packing on considerably more muscle (plus a little blubber ) and feel stronger and healthier because of it. Particularly my legs. They used to be twigs. If I get to the stage where my only choice left is a 62 litre McCoy Nugget I’ll think about backing off on the lifting and food. For now, nom nom nom lift lift lift.alakaboo wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 2:14 pmBut, why?

More peaceful in the water than it used to be
Local surf journalist Steve Shearer said a wave-starved winter had increased tension in the water.
But the 48-year-old denied surf rage was getting worse as a result.
"To put things into context, when I was learning to surf and growing up, the surf culture was much more violent," he said.
"The crowding now, you've got to accept it, you've got to be prepared to get stoked on less."
