Try some fcs bonzer side bites, even if your board doesn’t have the deep concave bottom contour, they still work REALLY well

Surfed the most ludicrously perfect little windy wedge wave solo.
I saw it rock hopping for a fish and went back and grabbed a board. It was literally right under everyones nose and no-one could see me.

Superb surf late yesterday. Perfect conditions. Three hours of head and a half to double, 6-8 wave sets, 10 mins in between,100-300m rides.
Twenty surfers on the favoured take-off zone, only 5 of us really competing for the biggest waves though.
Me on a 7'4, could just about take my pick from the sets. Blew the wave of the day though, pulled back at the last moment, with everyone watching
