Re: The winter of our content.
as june draws to a close, it's been in the words of our steven shearer, a King June ... wake up and it's on again with a o'nite bump. amazing how up here, in the complete absence of a noted or a forecast "hype" swell, the waves just endlessly cook thanks to local bathymetry.
june has been a month-long breakfast bonanza of beautifully bonafide bloody beachbreaks.
say that five times fast, shearer.

ahahahaha btw, it's Stephen as in the ancient Irish spelling.
It's been a bounty. The banks that got obliterated in May are back shallower than ever. Toob-city.
Agree totally on the quality during "hype-less" swells. They are always so much better.

yeah, super shallow banks lurching out of deeper water thanks to (in places) a complete absence of the outside storm bar. what's that – no back storm bar in places – about..?
it's been a 9 out of 10 June just based on the bank situation.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

won't do us any good though Mik.
It is part of a monster MJO and subsequent WWB that will see the nascent El Nino really fire up. Expect dust storms by Rocktober.

Re: The winter of our content.
sorry Mik, all those computer nerds can acronym their life away why can't weather nerds?
WWB= westerly wind burst. Reversal of the trade winds as a result of MJO forced tropicaL convection and one of the main driving forces in an El Nino. Creates a Kelvin wave which pushes warm sub-surface water towards the South American coast.

coincidently there's been some unseasonably early typhoons in the northern hemisphere this year.
Re: The winter of our content.
Good article with a bit of science about the 'omega block' record heatwave currently assaulting Europe.
