Sorry daz. Should have told me you were going. Since aj and Andy bailed I figured I would too. Though capt. caveman said he was gonna go.
Was counting on some free physio.
I think we should try again soon. Sunday night at the pyrmont bridge maybe?
Actually lying in the sun perving on tits and arse wasn't a bad fallback option today. But I feel yer pain daz.

It was glorious beach weather, and the skinny youth of both sexes were out in force, on the beach.

I thought I saw you there Daryl but didn't want to go and start asking random people are you from Realsurf? Hi I'm Crispin. So was just lurking.

Ah, same, about going up to random people. Doubt I wouldn't have recognized CC. Scruff, glasses, white goatee, sitting alone with a beer on the wall, that was me. What clothes do you reckon I was wearing?Crispin Flintlock wrote:I thought I saw you there Daryl but didn't want to go and start asking random people are you from Realsurf? Hi I'm Crispin. After chatting with Iggy and Coops we reckon we need a saturday arvo beer in the city around march/april near a train station. No pressure of a surf, no cooking, no inner city suburbs for those who don't have an inner hipster. Simple pub about 3pm. Arvo beers with options of bailing out early or kicking on, pending family leave passes. We would still struggle for numbers I reckon.
Probably should start thinking about it now as it usually takes about 5 months to pick a venue.

Al this is gold. "She didn't realise I was fairly high and spent much of the evening trying to figure out why a purple and orange cow wanted me to climb a tree."

Even more fun if you bring a 7ft+ board with you on a domestic Jetstar flight!Ringmaster wrote:Hurry up and lock in a date so I can book a cheap Jetstar flight. I'll crash at Andy's place for the night.

Alright men of Realsurf who know the city, suggest a pub between circular Quay and Town Hall. That should cover the train travellers, ferry catchers, bus people. Maybe with an outside area or a bit of space. Realistically though it only needs a bar. So venue first.
We can then work on dates to allow our interstate friends a chance for cheap airfares. Maybe avoid school holidays.

Harts Pub ... closer to Circular Quay than Wynyard.

Red Oak http://www.redoak.com.au/ at 201 Clarence St is ok. They brew their own beers and have some tasty ones.
Not awesome inside but pretty good.

Andy's "tragic event" coping mechanism is kicking into full force.
