Hi
I'm stopping in Hawaii in late feb for 2 weeks on way back from US ski trip. Does anybody know any nice places to stay/houses to rent somewhere along the stretch?
I will be with my lady who doesn't surf but is happy to hang out at the beach. Our budget stops at around $150 p/n.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, as are any little tips about things to see and do/eat in the area other than the obvious
Cheers
T

Even I am planning to go for skiing trip in USA or France this winter vacation. Can you just share where did you stay for your trip in USA , so that it would help me in planning my trip accordingly . I am gathering all the information about places from my friends so that I could plan accordingly.

The best skiing in the US is in Badwater Basin.
In France you should base yourself in Arles, lots of amazing peaks nearby but the food is terrible.

Hey,
Thanks Alakaboo for your reply. Yes Badwater Basin is really awesome I heard a lot about it from my friends , so this would be really good option for US. And for France I was planning to try Alpedhuez which is a ski resort at 1,250 to 3,330 metres. While I was searching about it online I found their online sports store also where they provide all kinds of packages for skiing at
location ski alpe d'huez .

It's not snow, for starters.
It's a saltpan in the Mojave desert

Right state, wrong desert. Badwater is in Death Valley.
So, when was the last time it snowed in Arles
![Question :?:](./images/smilies/icon_question.gif)
or are we talking about the slang type of snow

Nah I was taking the piss with that one too.
Lowest point in France.
Death Valley is in the Mojave.
