You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I like this the best ... sort of infers that if you fall over, you should just stay down and relax.jimmy wrote:enjoy the rest if your trip.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Ha we pulled up to a little right hander and a nearby resort boat was there. There was a bit of surf info exchanged and I wasn't paying much attention, watching the spot instead, when one of my crew nudged me and said "hey that guy wants to talk to you." sure enough it was Jimmy! We briefly shared the lineup at a slowish sorta left a day later. He is a large competent goofy foot. Good to meet you Jimmy!Trev wrote:Haha.jimmy wrote:I hope I wasn't one of those weeds Nick?!

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Just to prove I don't surf Bondi all the time: I have surfed at Maroubra, Manly and Cronulla in the last couple of weeks. All fairly crap as it happens. Only decent surf was last week at Bondi on my mal which I haven't ridden since Easter at Crescent.
Fun this arvo at Bondi. Swung around to the NE as the afternoon progressed.

Novel First time out at a dicey righthand reef break . Very shifty . Cheese-grater dry/exposed inside . Hard to peg yourself deep in the right spot with full confidence as many of the waves would section out or shutdown. Got a couple but nothing too flash . Got caught inside for a bit at one point and had quite a scramble to get back out again . The dry inside section just metres away .
One freak wave, a single wave clean up set pummelled thru. Just got under it in time .

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Quite a bit of force in the sets yesterday. As usual Bondi doesn't handle anything over shoulder high with any type of form. Plenty of close outs. Fairly good looking reform section. Wicked shore dump in front of the Pavilion. Thought I was safe on the beach in knee high water only to see the three incoming waves join up and smash me. Had to chuck my board. Still digging sand out of my ear two hours later.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I had to miss the Friday morning pulse up here. By the time I got there, it was blown out.
Yesterday the easterly blew all night. This morning went calm, glassy and a bit lumpy but despite a predicted NE, it blew offshore strongly enough to even it all out. Despite the school holidays and a long weekend, wasn't too crowded.
Great to get wet after about 6 weeks.
Had a bit over two hours and my neck is gonna be shit sore tonight.
Hope for a repeat tomorrow.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
To Steve and Fongsters disgust I didn't go for a surf this arvo. SE Wind and I'm stuffed after 5 days of either long surfs or two long surfs everyday. Hasn't been that good but fairly consistent.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Can anyone vouch for what Lennox was like yesterday?.
A mate of mine keeps rubbing it in that he surfed really good 3-4 foot Lennox yesterday (arvo I think) with hardly anyone out Pretty much to himself.. Just want to get the facts right before accusing him of being full of sh!t and talking it up. Thanks. Plus the bastard had a board he shaped for me in the car and decided to surf it that session himself.

Curl curl 2-3 ok around lunch time
Re: Where did you surf today ?
this morning... nup... totally pointless..
yesterday late arvo, waist to chest high weak windswell peaks.. some were ok though..
surfed the webber "the one" 6'2... it goes great in smaller stuff up 3ft.
though as it's a super light board, i don't think i'd fancy it anything over say 4ft..
has anyone else had much experience with the "SLX: Super Lightweight Epoxy" boards?
to me, they feel very much just like a regular PU to surf, other than being 'very light'.
nothing like that appalling 'tufflite' stuff (not super corky or stiff and chattery etc...)
