he was surfing on it
![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
....i kid no one...he was picking up the wide ones and surfing them
i'm now searching for 16 ft one.....i want be more maneuverable
i;ve seen him out before....but never saw him charging into bomb sets
this is seriously alternative and quite innovative and down right maddness

You don't need a motor.
This is what we used to do off Greenmount when I was a kid.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

in my defence, I was at least an hours boat trip away from any surfers, and a good 1/2nm offshore. the place has a strong tidal current that forces the groundswell to stand up. can be bloody hairy at times with standing waves 3 ft high.
the bloke doing it at ti-tree should have some sugar added to his tanks, that is just reckless.

Hey alakboo, shoulda made it clear that I was referring to the clip, not you.
This does remind me of a story, dunno if it was true or not, from back in the 70s. Apparently, one of the pros at the time - maybe Peter Crawford? - hired a Halvorsen cruiser and took it out at the German Bank.
Maybe Rabbit? Dunno. Anyone?

no worries, no offence taken.
despite quoting you I was actually responding to the madness Fong observed.
