No sense of kook entitlement like the entitlement that comes with a paying customer getting what they paid for.

#fuckthetub
Interestingly #fuckthetub is also Ricky's most frequent search on pornhub.

Yes, and I will thank you Leej, and everyone else here for providing that safe space for me to have my rant.

Amazing how cathartic letting off some steam can be!

The One Way sign makes the appropriate comment.

They’ve found their burnt out hire vehicle and an abandoned tent site.

These guys were surfing in Baja.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

They'll be searching for bodies ... they're definitely not alive.

One report I saw suggested they had left the "safe" areas.

Yep.

They found a burnt out car and one of the arrested guys had one of the Aussie’s phone.. I’d say it’s curtains for our intrepid travellers.

From memory that was a couple of blokes in a van driving from the northwest USA to Guadalajara to meet one of their girlfriends.
Driving through the night and taken somewhere after ferrying across from baja to the mainland.

Once when I read American surf forums it was not uncommon for these incidents.

Northern Baja has been sketchy since about 2008.

Even before this incident there's a lot of discussion on the Over 70sFB page about the dangerous areas.
Trips to Mexico seem to be still very popular with older American Surfers.

I never realised Baja was one of the most violent parts of Mexico. Guess I’ve watched too many longboarding movies.
