Hyperfreak material is good.Mr Puffy Pants wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:01 pm
Look at the hyperfreak. It's so flexible. Even you could get in to the chest zip. 2mm (I think) but feels like <= 1.5.
Have a 1mm long sleeve top for summer mornings or late surfs in the wind, a 3/2 steamer and will get the springie version when my Xcel dies.
And the size chart is accurate so can avoid going to a surf shop.

Both of those look like the armpits are wrinkling up. Not a very good omen for fit and flexibility.Mr Puffy Pants wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 8:33 pmHere's one for you

Thanks all.
I found an Ocean & Earth backzip at Goodtime, but I'm going to check out Aleeda. They said they would do a 3/2 like Steve was commenting on, for $50-60 extra. Not off the rack, but not too bad if I can get exactly what I want. I've been getting O'Neills for years, but the last one just doesn't have the same quality. In contrast, my old RipCurl after many years of service is falling apart everywhere, but the zip stays up.

I rang both the Brisbane and Gold Coast Wetsuit warehouse stores, but no stock, despite lots of options on the website. They are awaiting a delivery, but who knows when.Beanpole wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 10:28 pmBoth of those look like the armpits are wrinkling up. Yeah, I already put that link up.
About 500 aussie pesos.
I'm reticent to pay hipster money, without going the full hog and getting a custom Japanese suit.
does look tits though.

Steve, apologies if you've already considered these but I can't see any reason to go past them.
Only 2mm not 3/2 but as they make to order, I don't see why you couldn't get a 3/2 made.
Pretty sure, when I talked to them they offered either back or chest zip as required.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
