Re: that wetsuit discussion...
I bought a Needs BZ LS Spring.
I think I'm going to have to send it back, it's one of the most poorly designed products I've ever seen.
So pissed off, ten years down the track I still can't buy the wetsuit I want off the rack and that was as good as my O'Neill Gooru 3/2 LS Spring.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
I have that wetsuit, it's the worst I've ever owned.
Flat lock seams, (no GBS) leak like a sieve and the back zip is a really poorly designed one.
Absolute POS.
Now looking at these 2.

https://hyperflexusa.com/product/vyrl-l ... ip-spring/
otherwise, a custom Japanese is about $1500

Matuse Hoplite
Only 2mm but that's enough if you have a hood.

Thats a piece of shitt Buddy, flat lock seams.
I want to use the wetty as a prime winter wetsuit, which is why I want 3/2.
sealed seams.
Can't find a sealed seam 3/2 with BZ off the rack is why.

300 USD for a 2mm, no thanks.
I want it for water temp: 19-21.
Air temp: 2-20
It's the wind chill when air temps are single digits and you are waiting for set waves, that I need the 3mm for.
My work around has been steamers but I much prefer a LS Spring.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
3/2 LS Spring used to be a common off the rack wetsuit.
I bought them for years.
"half your body not covered"
??????
You must be a weird shape if just above the knee to your foot is half your body.
It's a part of my body I don't need covered, and it makes the wetsuit heaps easier to get in and out of, and thus makes surfing more pleasurable.

These were awesome custom Japanese suits.
Terumi would take your measurements in Byron. Not sure if they still doing them as they were putting a fair bit of time into her partners electric bike company Vallkree.
