Fun at Bondi with a holiday type crowd. Some Hilarious disputes with the Lifeguards for surfing near the flags.

Real fun this morning, headed down towards Kunji's way for a change.

Another dud surf for me.
Seriously thinking of giving up surfing in WA. Just the bukit for surf and WA for riding.
Pretty sure I'm gonna do 2 months on the bukit, starting 15 May.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I’ve never been to W.A. to surf but I am a little baffled by cranked continual semi-derision of it. Mate of mine I grew up with, a “brisso” has been living in South West WA for the past decade. Constantly sending pictures and videos of pumping surf. This was him, two days ago. This is bog standard, kinda marginal conditions.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I think Cranked is referring to Perth surf, which is far, far worse.
But I could be wrong.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Today was the first day I felt like I had energy.
Second surf included belting through a few sets and I got out feeling like I was revved up.
You know that feeling of being energised after a surf rather than thinking I might have a lie down.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
6am Rotto buoy 2.6m WSW, winds calm, sure thing for a surf around Mandurah. Drive down, fcuk all again, go back home. Only about 10 potential surf days so far this year, none were any good.
Perth surf sucks, its a 3.5 hour drive to MR. Surf is still inconsistent, but that's OK if you live there... I don't. The bukit is far, far better in every way. I expect and get good to great surf every day, sunrise till sunset from April to October. Quite happy to ride my bike every day that I'm in Perth and not surf there at all if I'm getting to the bukit 5 months or more a year.
