Anyway. Sorted. Just walked out with a 6’3 McCoy nugget. Sticker price $825, got it for $700.
And beancalipers, the big chunky round tail holds in fine. Foots right over the back fin, McCoy thruster fins are 10% bigger than large standard fins, and the rails though rounded full and soft hold very well.
I’ve pushed my old nugget hard off the bottom, and off the top, right in the bowl and steepest sections, and it holds just fine.
Where did you surf today ?

Shouldn't that be in the poo diary ?
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
had a dig at blue bay. was kinda ok. shoulder to head and a half high, washy conditions given the ESE wind and jumbled ex-TC swell. but still pretty fun. some of the sets linked thru, but it was all about the reform, the walled up inside section to carve up. the 6'3 vs the 6'6 nugget felt much the same, just a bit more nimble. fkn happy i didnt bite the bullet on some JS whatevs

Looked pretty jumbled when I had a look this morning. Plenty of swell about. That’s the sort of wave I would imagine a McCoy going okay in.There’s a few reefs breaking way out off the Entrance that I haven’t seen breaking ever before. Like about a kilometre off shore. Big tides and north swell.Hatchnam wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 6:39 pmhad a dig at blue bay. was kinda ok. shoulder to head and a half high, washy conditions given the ESE wind and jumbled ex-TC swell. but still pretty fun. some of the sets linked thru, but it was all about the reform, the walled up inside section to carve up. the 6'3 vs the 6'6 nugget felt much the same, just a bit more nimble. fkn happy i didnt bite the bullet on some JS whatevs

49999 posts huh. How about taking a photo of your vomit for 50k or don’t you still know how to post pics
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Surprised by the swell today. Really sweepy, rips everywhere and seemed way more powerful than I thought it would be.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
It was a shitty swell. The size and punch was there but breaking like first shot of billiards

So Hatchie, were you roaming around the Entrance in a Las Vegas T Shirt yesterday?

Today was one of those days when just one wave makes it all worthwhile.
Caught a few before the crowd arrived in force, but one was an absolute screamer and a bit over 200 metres long.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

What on earth are you dribbling on about? I went as far as blue bay and was wearing a Judas Priest shirt. And Las Vegas is a shithole. I’d never wear a LV shirt
Today. 3 hours north Maroubra. Lumpy 3-4 foot, with some ok peaks on offer

Sorry, just saw someone with one on and thought you might have an ironic sense of humour. Don’t know where I got that idea from. Actually at Bateau Bay.
