Cheers, the board is a rocket. Of course those waves make it easy compared with low period swell, shifting beach breaks with marginal sandbanks.

That board looks like one of those wooden salad spoons people used in the 70's. My folks had some.

Looks like the board rolls onto the rail beautifully on a high-line cut down.

I don't know about that, my racing board would shit on Roys and probably turns better.

Ahh, no. You were talking about speed so I thought I'd chuck that in. I know which surfing looks better and which board looks to surf better. Musics better too.

Ha ha, sorry mate, should have said a paddle board, clubbies use them to race. I bought one for those flat days to train on. Super fast and turns pretty good from the tail if you're on your knees, but can't turn for shit if your standing on one. Bit like Roy's.

No, don't really know him, just commenting on the board. He's pretty quick to comment on other peoples boards so I thought I'd comment on his boards..

No harm done.

Thanks for all the comments

This is from the same day as the second session posted here, after the tide dropped and the swell and wind picked up a bit. This time I took out the Ghost 12 which is nearly two feet shorter and weighs 24 pounds, half the weight.

I thought you would stand out from a crowd but I noticed another orange man in the lineup.

What does 12-9 and 13-9 signify? Presume the 12 and 13 are length. How wide are those boards?

You sure seem to get some speed on those boards. :)
