dunno anything about the boards, but I have a BSD big wave leash that is probably at least 12 years old.
pulled the plug through 3 boards, snapped the cord once, never even came close to breaking the leash.

just watched the first one.
there are some stupidly big airs in there, and some guys were going figs to the wall, but what % of rides were made? lots of clips of people trying to ride too deep and getting worked, or dropping in too late and eating it.
