waiting on the rocks today...this bloke got a nice wave...but it kinda went fat quick ( like chicks after u marry them )
so he went into this totally uncommitted kinda soft top turn come half a cutback but where u should done a snap
i'm a expert at this
he bog rail heavily ...fell half way round....than
this is wat impressed me
rolled at least twice end over end his board till he kinda got speared by the nose and suxed over the falls
u know....if he had grab hold the rails after the first roll....and sprung back his feet
it would been quite impressive
i'm calling it the rolling cow.....and....i'm gonna work on it

Thats a good one...
I did a manuevre as-yet un-named. You might help out here.
Maybe somebody else has done one too..
It starts a bit like the Rolling Cow, y'know, sort-of half-assed. Like, is it to be a big snap to floater over the fat close-out or a flying kick-out?
So you go into the lip, halfway through you hesitate, go to grab the nose as if kicking out, mis-connect and cop the board in the mouth, forcing your teeth through your cheek.
Kelly's new surf/cagefighting tour maybe...

Yeah, I'v got one too, It's called the 'Thackwacker'. It happens when you try to move the back foot back and miss time the positionioning, causing the board to whip up between your legs and targetting you gonads.
Your opinion is worth as much as it costs.

That reminds me of one of my favorites...I call it the "put it in your pipe and smoke it..."
Basically a variation of the previous move by the ever graceful Chillin, only instead the nose of the board flips up at your face...ouch.
Luckily I did a karate block when it happened and saved my teeth.

i'm pretty good at 'cow dropping from the sky and landing on its face'. you do a backhand floater on a hollow wave and teeter on top for a second before your board pops away over the back as you plummet face-first into the trough. last time i surfed sandon point i grazed my cheek on the bottom doing this.

i'm hearin' ya, lucky al. which cheek & which bottom - yours or sandon points'?Lucky Al wrote:i'm pretty good at 'cow dropping from the sky and landing on its face'. you do a backhand floater on a hollow wave and teeter on top for a second before your board pops away over the back as you plummet face-first into the trough. last time i surfed sandon point i grazed my cheek on the bottom doing this.
i did an interesting version of this one. backhand floater, low tide, but this time board gets sucked into the low tide frothy abyss, then turns on its' side and flings back in my face - breaking my nose & losing a shitload of blood. then i fall in a crumpled heap on my board, depression from my elbow, fins to the knee and then hit the sand bank.
