thought I'd put the stops on that other thread because Simon's credentials are beyond reproach.

Anyone recommend his boards for a 6 foot 78kg 38 year old... I like them floaty and was thinking of the mullet but really want to go down the epoxy type route as I like boards that last longer than a year before they turn into dented sponges.... :P

Remember those early 80's fat, low rockered rounded squares with his thruster symbol and tough glassed on fins..? just magic.

We owe him for the past...

well intentioned thread, hard to combat freedom of un-informed speech on the internet tho. everyone's a potential target for an anonymous sniper.

My Simon Anderson quad goes like a bullet.... for the three or four nanoseconds that I can keep control of the damn thing.

But thats entirely my fault - the board is a greedy little wave magnet which takes off like the space shuttle. Sadly I take off like a paper aeroplane.

Mollusc.. that's it. Shame no epoxy. I've been replacing PU boards every year for the last 25 years and I'm sick of it! Also, my wife counts each old one as a go'er and not as a wreck and can't understand the insatiable appetite for more.... snapping she understands, but not strange depressions everywhere and yellowed glass.
