Recover well, Trev. Seems like it went to plan. I'd have asked for take home opioids. That's just how I roll

They’ve given me some serious painkillers (just in case). Not sure if they’re opioid. I’ll check later.

The nerve blocker came out at about 9 this morning. It’s now 3.40 pm and just a faint pain but that’s after doing my exercises. Under ice now so we’ll see if it goes away.
Nurse was telling me this morning none of them have ever seen anyone with this op with zero pain for two days. (I’m the talk of the ward apparently)
Physio woman said she was only concerned I’d. overdo things because of the amount of flexibility I already have and a lack of pain.

Feeling pretty good right now.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Tapentadol, brand names Nucynta among others, is a centrally acting opioid analgesic of the benzenoid class with a dual mode of action as an agonist of the μ-opioid receptor and as a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (NRI).[4] Analgesia occurs within 32 minutes of oral administration, and lasts for 4–6 hours.

Sounds good Trev.
Not sure why they’d give tapentadol if you’re cruising like you say.
Could probably flip it for a decent profit

Apparently most people need it during the first week at home.

7 days (this afternoon) since the op.

And I just did a (slow) pop up off the floor after some exercises.
Repeated once to prove it wasn’t a fluke.

Even with a double thickness stretch bandage over my knee I’m surprised at the amount of flex I have.

Thanks Cranked.
Just had a FaceTime meeting with the physio this afternoon. He says the amount of flex I have in my knee would be expected after 6 weeks not one.

I’ll be looking to get back in the water once the wound s fully healed. It’ll get checked on Wednesday week so that’s my first goal.

Great news, Trev. Though don’t get overconfident and come back too early. And do those exercises.
