That's "The peak" very short but hollow, right in Krui. Kneelos only. Looks great in still shots.
Nice footage of the area though, beautiful spot.
Bro, thats not the peak and not kneelos only.

Edit - apologies, opening scenes.
Yeah, I didn’t get far into it.

Simon Farrer just dropped this clip of a recent trip to Samatra ...

Poor old Loof can only dream of surfing at this standard.

Take it to the booger thread mate.

Well it’s a fact that the closer you are to your belly the deeper barrels you will make.
Realsurf should be an inclusive church.

Except for goat boaters, sups and foil riders. Bang stick the lot of the cnuts I reckon

Its funny how some people get all salty and derogatory about different forms of surfing. Over the years I have found that the most outspoken "shortboarders" who pay out on lids, kneels's and the like, are more often than not very ordinary surfers and quite often the guy in the line-up who complains loudly after butchering yet another wave ... the water slapping kook.

Nothing like seeing some lumbering middle aged beef cake trying to manhandle an undersized HPSB into a few turns. They inevitably sink as soon as there’s a full bit.

The kookiest of all kooks. But, you can tell everyone what you ride and look cool walking on the sand.

Heaps better. They get no waves and don’t lose their boards

I've got a heap of mates in their 50's and 60's who ride performance shorties exceptionally well, good fellas too.

Plenty up here too Yuke.
I'm in awe of their abilities.
Windansea has a bunch of them.
Also North Shore Club (up past Maroochydore)

Well of course there are good older shortboard riders. That wasn’t the point.

Hang about Trev…..Windansea being one of the original elite board riding clubs?
Chances are you might find a few serious surfers in there.
That was my point.

To be sure it’s easier to carry half a surfboard, half soldier.

But, very good point.

…..but not very far.
e.g. Central Coast…..plenty at Blue Bay with a short stroll to the water from the car. Not that many out at the reef at Nth Shelly’s with a decent hike up the stairs after a longish walk.
