So Steph has jumped ship to Rip Curl on a ten year deal. Interesting move at her age. Maybe looking for a lifestyle rather than competitive surfer. Expect to see her on lots of trips I expect. They are owned by Kathmandu.

I liked Quiksilver. I was a TC fan. And Quiksilver was big in Torquay in the 80’s with the Kong and Chappy stuff. I had a pair of their polka dot boardies which I wore to death.

I think a lot of my favourite surfers were bong - occ, Parko, Andy, Margo, Louie, Rasta
Seemed all the guys with the best style, for me anyway. Bar curren.
And all the no name sponsored surfers you'd come across in the lineups, the worst behaved always seemed to be rip curl.
