I just read the beachgrit article and a bit of the tism reared its ugly head when I read Derek say the adjacent footy ground to urbnsurf in Melbourne is nicknamed Windy Hill.

Essendon's traditional homeground and training centre were at 'Windy Hill' in, wait for it,... Essendon.
When they wanted to expand the place they would have displaced the bowls club. The bowls club fought back and won so Essendon FC moved out to Tullamarine, next to Urbnsurf.

I know what you mean Buddy… thought the same thing. The original Essendon ‘windy hill’ is no where near the wave pool…But doesn’t the mean the tub at Tullamarine isn’t still windy and cold though. That’s Melbourne everywhere.
