Didn't see any signs but I'll pay more attention on the way out tomorrow.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Some friends have surfed it. They reckon it’s pretty good. Water a bit iffy though.

Steve’s commentary about the current comp featured his trademark beige and bland assessment. Waiting for him to include gobbledygook and psychosomatic.

Pretty great footage of Harrison Roach surfing Bells on a mal. No leg rope but he still rips.

I enjoyed this catch-up with Bobby Martinez on Surfline. He’s still with his Aussie wife which is nice. I think she’s from the Gold Coast.

I think about half the surfers are Euros now, they crowd the breaks en masse

By and large this area has become too expensive for Euros and travelling surfers.

Way less travelling surfers than 10-15 year ago.

Brazilian and Euro's living on the Gold Coast come down here en masse during hyped swell events, but away from those, you rarely see one.

The complete opposite here.

Back in the 80s the breakup was roughly 60% Ozzie's, 20% US, 10% Saffa and 10% Euro
