Yesterday I entered a couple of surf contests happening in June.

My wife asked how much they cost.

I said, "70 and 95 dollars"

She thought I said, "1795 dollars"

And she's got perfect hearing. I must have mumbled.
Lucky she's got a healthy heart. 😳

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

No prize money in either.
Just trophies.
But lots of giveaways especially in the Alex Winter Classic.
That's where I won the NSP two years ago.
Competitor's prize draw.

I’m wondering who the best longboarder of all time might be. I like that Wingnut guy but, not a massive fan of Nat Young or Midget Farrelly. Joel Tudor is pretty good if you like statues. Harrison Roach in the modern era?

I think I’d put mid length and fish surfing closer to longboards than HPSB. HPSBers really are a class in their own. Although I’d say only 3% of the population can really ride them properly

A nice derrière in a gbanger is just a bonus.

Alex Winter is a solid comp at Alexander HL but, not world class perhaps

True.
But some very accomplished surfers compete. Including a couple of ladies who've competed on the world Longboard stage.

And Kong
He still rips.

Some of the women surfers have real style about their riding.

Kathryn Hughes as mentioned above is one.
And 62 year old Liz is just style personified.

I think it goes back to about 1982.

Interesting club.
Doesn't have anything to do with Surfing Qld or Surfing Australia.
They do their own thing

Incredibly strong support from the local business community.

Waiting for the tide to change for a second go out at The Superbank. A couple of Balos were ripping the bag out of it this morning. Hotly contested and sweep drawing you towards the point if anything.
