6 flights today, 5 flights tomorrow.
You are just counting departures.
That’s a low number. Even for Monday
Not really, even in the busiest summer times it's not much more.
Maybe 7 flights- not sure I have ever seen 8.

Honestly, flying into Ballina and having Steve randomly pick me up on the shuttle bus would be peak lyfe. Like, where do you go from there. The excitement would be off the richter.

Yes Foamy.
correct.
5 flights land from Sydney and Melbourne.
So they arrive, and then take-off again.
Should we count those twice?
They arrive and then depart.
Lol, yes. That’s how airports work. Arrivals and departures. You’re not counting them twice, they’re two different flights. So if 5 flights arrive, then 5 flights depart. There are 10 flights per day. 10 impacts per day.

OK.
I thought a plane arriving from Sydney to Ballina then leaving Ballina and flying back to Sydney was one flight.
Saying there are 10 flights when there are 5 planes landing seems weird, but OK.
5 planes land and then take off- 10 flights.
I think point still stands though- this ain't LAX.
The impact on biodiversity from the Airport seems quite minimal, to my eye.
Although impacts, as a whole, are increasing.

From a passenger point of view it’s 10 flights.

Yep, copy that Beans.
From an impact on biodiversity view, it's five planes.
700 daily flights out of LAX.
Do we need to labour this point so hard?

When you were driving the bus, dropping people at Byron or the Goldie and then picking up others and taking them to the airport later in the day, was that one trip or two?

That was considered one run.
Ie starting at Byron, picking up people dropping at Airport for outbound flight, then picking up people from Airport from inbound flight and driving back to Byron was considered one run.
One run or trip.
But according to our schema - two flights. One inbound, one outbound.
Same plane.
Just a slight bit of confusion.

Anymore questions about Biodiversity.
I feel like we are getting bogged down in useless and irrelevant details.

Mate, you're not going to make bank with that attitude. 2 trips, twice the price!

Don’t let him distract you with any of that biodiversity irrelevancy, Channels. It’s just a failed marketing ploy.

If you were really serious about the biodiversity you would have done those runs by rickshaw

can't use it in the new Subie.
I value marine biodiversity highest, then bird biodiversity, amphibians (frogs), reptiles, mammals, arthropods, insects, micro-organisms.
And plants, but I need to learn a lot more about plants.
Or close enough to that order.
Is that OK Thud.
I know it's a bit anti-social to value biodiversity.
