Hi guys and girls,

During a recent house move, I have lost 4 x VHS classic surf movie copies and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me get my hands on DVD copies (or VHS) as I just can't live without them !

They are;

Surfer's: The Movie - Gotcha Surf Movie 1989.
Nine Lives (Billabong Challenge) 1999.
Powerglide (Longobard Magazine Volume 1) 1993 - I think.
Adrift (A beautiful short 'before it's time' Joel Tudor DVD).

I'm happy to pay a small fee and / or postage for anyone who can help me in gaining copies of these, all bar ADRIFT are now not available for sale which sucks !

Thank you. Chris.

Storm riders was 80s dick Hoole, Jack McCoy

I think it has that section of Wayne Lynch in NW WA on a gen 1 Simon Anderson thruster.

Weren’t there issues with the Doors soundtrack like a lot of old movies?
Pink Floyd gave Greenough the rights to use Echoes in Crystal Voyager and MOTE had an original soundtrack.

Think the soundtrack is what makes it so good. Used to know what scene it was whenever I heard any of the tracks.

I remember seeing MOTE at the Capitol Coolangatta. It was a big deal. MP was just a hot local kid in those days and having him on the big screen with surf gods like Nat and guys from Sydney and Hawaii was mind blowing. Probably for him too.
Saw Crystal Voyager at the Kingscliff Amenities Hall.
We usually had to drive up to Miami to see surf movies. 6 in a car minimum. Theatre would be packed to the rafters.

Yep. Miami was where I saw Endless Summer.

If Annette Funicello isn’t in it, I’m not watching it.

First surf movie I saw at the cinema was a re-run of Big Wednesday at the Trak cinema in Toorak.
