Overkill for Sydney but anywhere that gets cold it would go alright. If it was a chest zip, it would be even better.

I just got a 4x3 for down here. They are very thick and very warm. I’d forgotten how much thicker they feel than a 3x2. Definitely overkill for Sydney. You’ll fry even in mid-winter.

$439 sounds expensive.

I got the 3/2 of that wetsuit retail for $300

Just bought a 2mm long arm/short leg front zip, sealed-seam wetsuit from Surf Warehouse for $160. I already have the same model but long arm and leg 3x2 ($210) for nearly a year without any problems.

Its like saying, I just purchased some open toed rubber footwear which attach via two straps that form a V across the top of the foot ... rather than simply saying ... "just got me a new of pair of double-pluggers".
