steve there's a reason why a 3/2 l/s spring isn't a thing. Why not consider a high end 2mm steamer for your needs? Or Carroll's 1.5mm?

By "features" I meant stiffness as well as taping, gluing, whatever

I hate steamers.

I hate wetsuits.

A LS Spring is just easier to get on and off and thus I ride more waves.

I have a high end Steamer- an Isurus 2/2 zipper less steamer.

Ah yes. I forgot it takes you several minutes to put on and take off a wetsuit.

You'll still be in the carpark while I am in the water riding set waves.

Fact.

It really does take you a long time doesn't it. If it took me much more than a minute from parking I'd be surprised.

Anytime, anyplace, anywhere if you want to go head to head.

You in a steamer, me in a LS spring.

Guaranteed I will have ridden the first set wave.

Glad Carroll isn't here to remind me of the time I put the steamer on back to front.

That did add some extra time in the carpark

Luckily we've all forgotten about it.

I actually learned to love it.

But there's no way that 2/2 is as warm as a 3/2.

Conductive and convective cooling laws still apply.
Yes, but if there's less water in the insulator there's less efficient conduction.
Tell me more about the Isurus.

Very soft, buttery Yamamoto rubber than somehow seems to have really good durability.

Really nice to surf in.

Pretty easy to get into and out of.

Are wetsuits the only thing around here that aren't measured in Kilojoules ?

True, but I don't believe the spiel that it holds less water.

Also convection in wind chill.

There’s a euro brand called Annox that does a 4/3 ls springsuit. It’s the sort of insanity that I could see shearer getting on board with

With the suggestive pose of the mannequins they use, shearer's gonna think they're flirting with him.
