I don't really have any excuse up here. All flat and all paths are designated for pedestrians and cyclists. Plus a neat crushed granite track along a secluded waterway at the back of the suburb.

Beanpole
You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I went off it after my first sign of a bladder tumour. That happened directly after flogging it up a steep hill around here. There are plenty of those. I take it easy now.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Well I didnt surf there today..but i spent the last week down at Bendo /Green Is. The wind was crazy off the charts for the first 3 days. But had better weather for Wed and Thursday and surf at GI on Wednesday (6 foot) and Thursday 3-4. What was even better was on the Thurday night after a short drive back to WGong with my brother we caught The Psychedelic Furs at Anitas at Thirroul. Great intimate venue and a great gig. Wyre were you there i wondered...Double barrel so to speak:)

Re: Where did you surf today ?
First warm day down here. 28 degrees with northerlies. Real summery feel. Worked this morning so had an arvo session. Thought crowds would be off the charts but strangely bugger all. Got a peak pretty much all to myself. Chest high and quite consistent. Still cold in the water so steamers are the go. Some blokes still wearing booties. One lunatic was just wearing boardies. I nicknamed him Iggy.
Rode the Volume 2. Feeling much better on a bigger board. Paddles really well, gets into waves easy, and loves to get on a rail. Quite an effortless board to ride.

Its massive up here today ... tow-ins at Kirra.
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

There was one guy out at outside brockies when I checked around 6pm.
Not sure if he'd been surfing up the top beforehand or not.
But the reward definitely didn't seem worth the effort.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Early at a beachie. Hot here today. Oily glassy, frequent, and only one other punter. As I was leaving the hoardes were descending.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Solid here this morning, offshore. Can't imagine anywhere that wouldn't have been pumping.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Took the youngest out at Linda Mar this morning.
It was small when we paddled out but pretty quickly doubled in size and they got pretty belted. Definitely was some fear in the eyes but they got through it.
It was pretty cold so after a while they went and sat on the beach in the rain, which was probably colder.
The Buell is decent but not amazing. I'll probably get another more expensive 4/3 with detachable hood and alternate them.
The rubber is a lot more flexible than it looks, really pretty soft and supple. It's a pretty generous 4/3, much thicker than my 3.5/2.5 O'Neill. Probably a little too thick on the limbs.
Fleece lining on the torso but it may just be for looks, certainly doesn't seem to do as much as the Excel lining which was almost unbearably warm.
The cut isn't great, I got a large based on their very detailed size chart but probably should've gotten an MT, my normal size. But loose in the back of the knee and armpits.
The hood design is great. Very warm, stops drips into the eyes. I didn't need it today (water is about 14 degrees) but was testing it out.
There's a fair bit of flushing through the left shoulder and down the back if you don't cinch the chest flap thing down, which was unpleasant.

Nearly four hours of slicing and dicing head and a half high skatebowl shaped beach breaks down the gong. Winds smashing it now
