I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Rented a couple of boards at Waikiki and my boy and I went for a surf yesterday. Place was packed with tourists and people learning to surf but it still was a lot of fun.

Scenery wasn't half bad either 😛

Good stuff, Groots. I had a few surfs out at Ala Moana. Lots of fun.

Finally managed a wave I was happy with yesterday. Stray right off the main left break in the middle. Walled up after a steep drop and I managed to race a few fast sections before it hit the inside. Managed to jump a bit of backwash and it kept holding right onto the shore.
That’s the best wave I’ve had in a couple of weeks.

A few sneaky little rights rolling through under the radar the last couple of days. Quite a few banks working on a small swell at the Eastern Suburbs most popular secret spot. Had to avoid the more obvious and crowded options. Nothing special but nabbing 6 or 7 each surf made it a vast improvement.

Local beach throwing some hard, punchy peaks out yesterday arvo and this morning.

Saw two snapped boards yesterday, almost snapped my own this morning.

Great fun!

I think it’s time to get a mid length.

I like the look of the Joel Fitzgerald cosmic twin:

Great fun this morning.
Middle of a long weekend.
Last weekend of the school holidays.
And just me and one mate for three quarters of an hour..
Then two more.

Not sure where everyone was.
Up the beaches I guess.

Torrens must have sold a few people on the performance characteristics of those MOTE boards. Some of the barrels he gets in those movies are insane.

Freeflight 2+1 for half the price, likely a lot more versatile. Sideways surf, Brookvale
