Super fun dawny at the Pass.

Got run over before I'd even caught a wave by this South American babe- I gave her a big wide berth and said don't hit me- she was looking straight at me with fear in her eye- which I knew was the sign of an out of control learner.
She actually aimed at, fell off, and speared the board straight at me- unintentionally.
I fended off, expertly, with no injury.

She apologised and went straight back out into the pack.

I found some space down the line and caught heaps of waves.

Then Byron Bunnings, Aldi middle aisles and the Suffolk Park pump track for a coffee and shred on the way home.

Sounds like Bondi. Parking is just as bad too.

Your instincts are all out of wack if you’re giving South American babes a wide berth.

Dixon Park earlier. 3-4 foot peaky, fun. Winds smashed it now but

Bondi. Just got back. Heaps of road closures due to Sculpture by the Sea. So I went down Bondi Rd. Straight through with green lights all the way. Park just north of the surf club. Little rights next to the flags with just a few people for some reason. Hardly anyone was sitting in the right take off. Caught a squillion waves.
Let a few go through because I was so stuffed from paddling straight back out and nabbing another one straight away. A couple of people finally worked out where to sit but still not crowded. Called it a day. Easy run back too. Pretty stuffed now.

Bigger waves this morning than I surfed all winter. 5 foot sets, offshore.
