Seems to have backed off a bit, Steve?
Just in the last hour or so, maybe just as it approaches the low.
Was pretty rubbish.

Well it would be ok if it was uncrowded, but not at all worth it for what it is.

Seemed to have dropped a fair bit here - but big runout tide.
More organised lines coming through though.
Morning could be OK.

well it started muscling up a bit here later in the arvo. There should be a couple of pulses on this swell.

Never seen it so crowded. Not one of the usual coffs coast suspects either.

Was the same down here.
The spot with the big dirt carpark was completely full at 6.30am all the way to the sth end of it with a stream of cars still piling in.
But there were plenty of waves to be had spread right out and all up the beach.

Who are all these people? I’m assuming there is not many from Qld. Do you reckon there’s just a lot of surfers on the north coast if everybody decides to pull out their surfboard.

I do reckon.
All surfers have also returned from overseas.
They also haven’t gone camping in the national parks.
Might be a few city folk that have got into their holiday homes.
Not many out getting on it real late so plan the days around surfing.
Part timers are surfing more because they have nothing else to do.
No one’s taking kids to sports or whatever.

Northern beaches car parks are packed. Solid swell, light winds, stunning day.

I reckon there will be further consequences after this.

Spot on. I pretty much know all the regulars who walk past my place with boards. Plenty of different faces lately.

Bring on the cold weather and stiff, brisk westerlies.
That’ll get rid of half of them.
