After a gale force offshore yesterday making paddling and taking off a challenge, today was more calm. Marginally smaller but just smooth and fun.

Make of this what you will but I was driving along the Passage about 5.30, heading for my local and the radio played a song from my teenages surfing years.
Singing (well, yelling in my case), along with it set the mood for the session.

Yes I made it out the back, I cornered left and right, I walked the plank.

But no. I didn't get my toes above the nose.....😎🏄

Oh. And it was 5° air temp.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Amongst the close outs (the banks are cooked at my local) a couple of nice waves.

Remarkably astute commentary from our resident. “I’ve retired and spend all my time on a surf forum”

Not totally flat here. But northerlies now.
Wednesday I had an hour and a half at my local. Then another hour at The Bluff.

Pretty worn out by the end of all that.

I've had a couple of really fun, really kooky surfs in the last couple of days. Regaining and retraining my atrophied skills.

3-5ft lefts up to 150m long, rocky reef platforms covered with some sand from a river mouth, sort of like a mirror image in shape of Trev's local, but it holds up to 15ft.
