Had a couple of hours at my local. A bit messy but plenty of waves and a maximum of 6 in the water.
Had a look at The Bluff a bit later. Nicer waves probably buy 30+ punters.

My last surf for a few months.
Knee op is only a couple of weeks away. Don’t want to risk any cuts or bruises.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I had a look. Couple of ok ones and it was the only spot with anything close to resembling a fun enough wave. But wasn’t worth a high tide rock off with after work and school crew about to also hit it.

First surf at granite bay Noosa in about 30years. Waist high with occasional shoulder high sets.

Never surfed Granites. Have had pumping overhead Ti Tree with three of us out for hours. Plus lots of great surfs at Nationals.

Yep. Granites is a great fun wave, always worth the extra walk.

Y’day 1-2 foot Coolum bays, kinda fun but a bit weak, buffered out south swell and all

First surf in 8 weeks today at Point. Took out my 7' gun and just paddled around. It felt so good to be back in the brine.

Glad it wasn't any bigger, and I was completely out of form and fitness, but I didn't care. The sun and salt felt nice on my skin.

Lots of good people, good chats.

first bit of decent swell in about three of four weeks turned up on Sunday but was messy and windy. I thought this morning would be good. but went to the local reef and it was very crowded and small. had a look at at a south facing bobbie thinking it might be a bit bigger, but there was a big shark and a school of salmon.
ended up in the middle of a beach, caught a few but my form is just terrible.

Arrawarra, 1-2 foot and some nice shape on the lower tide. Surfed the twin fin. Fun as, roundhouse cutbacks and turns all the way to thru to the pole.

Was keen for something bigger, but the Lennox thru ballina stretch was pretty windy and lumpy

what a glorious day!
2-3' at dlp point. clean, offshore with nice walls and only two others on the middle peak. the 6' swallowtail quad was perfect.
