Beautiful smooth brown peaks.
I could not see my feet at all.

Had a fun surf in clean weak waves on Tuesday at Waddell.
We're having a bit of a heatwave, it got up to 35 that day, so the water at 17 was quite pleasant.

Been ok here all week. School holidays hasn’t impacted in the water. Car population is large. Water population has decreased to pre covid levels I think.

Usually the most crowded wave in town to ourselves for 2 hours. The spot I usually go to had 10 guys out already at 5.30 in a tight takeoff zone.

Flawless 4-5 foot Cronulla beach breaks. Surfed the Gunther twin. Such an easy board to surf, effortless, fast, loose, plenty of drive and hold.

Pleasure Point yesterday before work. Was in the 4 - 6 range, little peaky and not easy to get in the right take off spots but the locals make it look easy. Got a couple of rides among the crowd. Been a shit summer for waves here

The voice of the surf heard now and then was a positive pleasure, like the speech of a brother. It was something natural, that had its reason, that had a meaning.

I’ve had it out in anything from waist high beachies to DOH reefs and points. It holds, it goes.

Plenty loose, no need to over-surf the board either. Love the drag-free feel and freedom on the wave face.

The skatebowl with loose trucks cross-training has been working a treat, v-similar approach

Pumping around here this morning, just about too warm for a springie in the sun.

Tide just a touch too high but otherwise best it's been in a while.
