Yep.
But they're running it up at Access 11. There's small fun waves at Tea Tree, Nationals, Gum Trees and Johnos.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I’ve been riding a widowmaker for the first time in twenty years. Really didn’t like the Bear I had back then and have mainly ridden mals with a single ever since. Except for my old Takayama which I had set up as a thruster till I snapped it.

Solid. Good glass job.
Might be 66/6 glassing, or 66/64

Yep.
Even longer on the way back.🤢
Well worth it though.
Slightly overhead and only 5 of us all the way out.
Tea Tree was a shitfight.

Never surfed Granite. I’ve surfed overhead Tea Tree with three of us out. Tea Tree is like how Rainbow Bay used to break with a couple of extra bits like that bump on the inside. Surfed Nationals really good a couple of times.

Over of my best surfs ever was at Granites.
2-3ft, 3 people out, smooth as glass.

It's a special place.
Primal.
There's probably plenty of similar places the world over.
But the rarely so close to civilization.
If you can call Noosa civilized.

Rottnest wave buoy is showing 4m and the wind is currently offshore. I'm gonna be ready to surf at first light.

Already gone SSW at 9 knots, but that's side-off at a few places I might surf... one is delightfully named Sharkpits

Just got back. The wind was offshore locally but was blowing onshore out to sea and destroyed the swell... occasional head high crap. Surfed by myself for less then an hour and came home.
