Just had an absolute magic surf with the wife, solo, fish everywhere, crystal clear water and perfect peaks.

Not a tourist in sight.

Lot of tourists here over Easter weekend. Still got waves but frustrating and some suss behaviour in the water. Weird, was way more crowded then Christmas

Paddling up the inside after every fucking wave for one. I made it my mornings work to drop in on one cnut who kept doing it and when he questioned me about it I explained that while he keeps paddling past everyone I will keep dropping in on him.

Every spot needs a Loof to regulate.

Can't you just have a quiet, civilised word to them loof?

These are educated people, just ignorant and starring in their own movie.

It's nice when you get an unexpected surf.
Well, unpredicted anyway.

Supposedly a northerly all night but I hoped it'd be offshore early and it was.
Super high tide and small, short period swell so I figured the spot where we run our comps might work.

Had nearly 2½ hours of "baby food" waves.

Hoping for a repeat tomorrow but with slightly bigger swell.
It'll probably be shit but hey, today was fun.
Although if the swell grows a little bit and the wind goes N as predicted, around the other side should work.

I don't normally bother on weekends especially during school holidays but here's hoping.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Bondi was packed this morning. It’s protected from the north swell. Pretty crappy though. Heaps of walkers, runners, powerlifters and a few swimmers. Everyone was out after the rain.

Solid open beach peaks around here.
JS held in beautifully even though it’s advertised as a step down board.

Yeh thruster only.
Wade Goodall fibreglass fins.
I’d say they’re a bit like the AM template with smaller rear and rakey but sitting in between the AM1s and AM2s size wise.

Same fins made the emery I snapped way too stiff so I put an extra small rear in and it was great. Not quite as small as a 2+1 trailer

I like the look of this.
The 6’1, 2 1/2 for pumping waves would be sweet.

Classic 4-6 foot beach break conditions. Surfed the entire Maroubra stretch. Started north end and surfed left after left until I reached the south end then finished with a right. Surfed the 6’2 twin , it performed and handled perfectly.
