I usually park on the other side of the road at Nth Steyne or Queenscliff or down a side street rather than pay for parking. Easy parking today. Moderate crowd. Dripping Wet had a tuflite Carver for sale second hand for $895. Now considering I bought mine new for $800 over ten years ago that means I could come out $95 ahead if I sold mine. This one did have flames painted on it though. Same vintage.

Forgotten how much of a circus Torquay is at Easter. Total shit show. Place is full of surgically enhanced Melbourne soccer mums (hi Steve) and their downtrodden husbands cruising the town in their Audis and wandering the walking tracks and beaches in their designer active wear. One old mutt on a mountain bike was wearing a pair of POC sunnies. The type they wear in the TDF. Had a giggle.

Anyway, it motivated me to duck further down the GOR over the last couple of days. Scored pristine head-high beachies with minimal crowd and clear sunny skies each day. Good for clearing the head. Unfortunately 12 months out of the water has destroyed my skill level. A bit soul destroying, but I’ve made some strides.

Glad you got some waves. Water’s nice hey?
The jan juc reefs would have been a complete shit show.
Did a drive by on the way back from bells and cars were sprawled out everywhere. Didn’t bother getting out to check the surf. There was definitely some uncrowded options though.

The water is Sydney warm. Crazy.

Yeah, reefs were ridiculous. Hopefully once school holidays finish there’ll be some uncrowded sessions on offer. Although looking at the size of Torquay/Juc these days I doubt it.

He wasn't specific about what they had enhanced.

If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of loofy buying a plane ticket and a Vespa.

There was a bloke with fake boobs hanging at the Southside carpark the whole time I was there, living alone out of his sedan, drinking tins from sun up till sun down, I assume hitting the marching powder as well.
He talked a lot of shit but was pretty good value.

Should be alright when I get home then.
I assume the Lismore sewerage treatment plant is still a fair while off repair though.
