Dunny bowl bank sorta starting to work again after all these years. Mix of receding south groundswell with some north east windswell offering up some decent peaks

Wait.
Is there someone covered up on the inside?
Never noticed that before.
No Trev.

Was only me and Kit on the back button.

Kit died a few years ago- had a heart attack surfing 10ft Cloudbreak.

Not a bad way to go. Except for everyone on your boat.

Do you think the location and size of wave made a difference to him having a heart attack?

I’ve often thought about that in a lot of those remote locations.
Help isn’t readily at hand and the crew is only nominally checking on the customers.

He was living there- very experienced big wave surfer.

Still, hard to say.

What a difference 100kms of coastline makes.

Just checked the BOM observations for the cennie coast and the wind was more than double the speed down here.

i parked at my friend's across the road and gamboled over with old faithful past hapless 30 summinks clutching their prized Pyzels like trophy wives, and snagged a couple before retreating from that discombobulating wind today.

only a miracle saved some poor soul gettin impaled by a loose shade thingy rolling like tumbleweed across the sands at australia's iconic today filled with millions of clubbies and several Indian tourists.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Heaps of Indian tourists these days. Obviously all Thudsters coworkers.
Had a bash on the foamy yesterday after going down for a swim and seeing a bit of a right in the corner.
Looked crap today when I had a dip. Heaps of parks both days :-D-:

That’s what I meant, central coast looked reasonable winds, Sydney was blowing its tits off.

It's just like the whole country atm.

Wild, destructive weather with rain and flooding in the south. Even snow and hail in places.
Get into northern NSW and Qld and we've got extreme heat and fire danger.

Fcuk, went for a paddle for a bit of exercise and nearly got blown to NZ.
Got halfway back up the beach and just had to stand stationary leaning into the wind to hold my board.

Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz for a late arvo paddle with my boy

Surf was shit but he had a lot of fun. Some cnut dinged my board and on the way home had to go and rescue the wifes shitheap as the battery had died. My reward was we got takeout for dinner, Pork Banh Mi if you must know, and am now necking a nice cold beer.

This day is still a win
