Banger might’ve been a relative term to the adjusted scale of the day.

Had a fun surf yesterday with Mikey Wright and and Jai Glindeman- fmd, they were on asymmetrical pickle-fork nosed twin fins and absolutely shredding.

It was so good to watch.

I’d like to see Jai add a little more aggression through his turns.
Let out the inner Andy.
Mikey does it already.

Mikey sprayed me on one turn and it was like being hit with a water cannon.

Fcuk, you're in Hawaii and I'm about to get on a plane to Invercargill. Life can be cruel
So is now a good time to mention I'm starting projects in El Salvador, Costa Rica, and possibly one in Peru?

31st Avenue at Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz this morning. Was about 4 - 6 and super clean.

Bit crowded but my 17 year old Grant Miller V-Skate ensured I bagged some waves. Body is still feeling the banged up affects of last weekends snowboarding trip though, I need to book in to see the chiro next week to get put back in shape as my hip is aching right now

Development of a product/policy design for insuring surf camps/villages for damage to surf breaks, surf conservation/protected area regulation development, and ecotourism business development assessment for a surf camp in a national park.

pickle-fork nosed
For the life of me I can't see any advantage in that nose design ... you could square it off, round it off or leave it fucking pointy and achieve the same results.

Obviously, the best results would be achieved if you first spent a lot of time in situ to familiarise yourself with the topography, local wind, wave and weather conditions, etc, etc

Obviously.

On some projects I'm learning a lot, foamy. And trying some new stuff. On others I am trying to teach others stuff I have already done elsewhere, in new contexts. There's something interesting in every project.

Sounds amazing, 'boo!

Peru has some great waves. There's a surf camp up near Mancora that is right on one of the great waves up there. I'll leave the actual name off cos I don't blow up spots...

Less exotic but im spending a few days in copacobana. Couldn't take a board but there's a decent mid length here that'll do the job. Was hoping for a surf at copa or Avocathis morning but it's pissing down and blowing a gale. Hopefully tomorrow

Hope you get a few Ricky.

I drove down and checked the surf about 5 times today.
Between Lennox and home.

Didn’t surf.

Where my mate John Sojoski lives.
Nice spot actually.
He's got a shaping bay under his house and made me a great board way back in about 2003.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
