Nar, always been that way but not always in first week of January.
fun waves middle of the day yesterday by myself and today 4-6pm just me and a mate sitting at the top takeoff with a few more sitting down the inside.

Had a crap surf this morning. Tide was too low. Hit it again this arvo and snared a few reforming rip bowls.

Pretty much zilch. Just constant South-easterlies. Went NE this morning but it’s 1ft. There was some junky shoulder high stuff Wednesday which I surfed to try and cleanse and clear my head before the funeral. Had the worst surf in living memory. Constantly in the wrong position, constantly caught inside, had a learner flick his board out in front of me which hit me in the shoulder, and just kept getting shut down. Probably more about me than the waves but it was shit.
