Looking like some tasty NE swell coming tomorrow. I've got a spot in mind for the early that loves a low tide, North wind and chunky NE swell combo
Hope you score. It looks like a write off up here.

Nope, it didn't come off as planned. Swell is too unorganised, too small for the spot. Got a cuppla though

Fcuk some of the surf forecasts have been off lately. Let alone the BOM warning of hazardous surf conditions today.

Don’t you just get up and check each day regardless of the forecast?

Just an observation. Don’t you plan activities around when you think the surf should be good or shithouse?

My thinking was more an observation of how you seem to operate.
Get up and faff about, drive down, if get a park - check it, if not - go home.

No, actually it’s wake up early. Faff about. Read the news. Check the beach cams. Check the tide times. Usually go back to sleep. Then wake up again. Get a cup of coffee. Wait till after all the mums have dropped their kids off at school and dependent on tides go for a surf.
So I only check actual surf forecasts for upcoming swell events.
The BOM has had a hazardous surf warning up for the last two days and it’s been little. Swellnet also had the swell coming right up.

Potential today if the tide was higher. Really straight for the early but a bit of swell and nice offshore.

Swell looking as advertised, 10'/4,100kJ at Ulus this morning. Padang the primo spot, Bomby and Outside Corner the biggest.

Saw some cranking empty wide sets at impossibles if you could somehow get in the right position.

Lacklustre and windy at Bondi. The northerly swell missing it. Tama was lined up but a bit closey outy. Nth end of Bronte was packed and looking like Padang in the sets…..when they didn’t close out.

How long has there been a camera at impossibles?
